Beauty, grooming & non-surgical treatment specialists PRIVET, asked us to conceptualise, create and theme some thought provoking, humorous seasonal imagery for their salon window and social media campaigns. An unusual brief, given the ‘delicate’ range of services to pitch, the specific aim being to increase clientele, especially male.
Located in Notting Hill, a stone's throw from Portobello Road, offering the latest premium quality treatments in a stylish, welcoming interior, it became immediately obvious to us that the salon lacked kerb appeal. The absolute initial priority? To reinvigorate the fascia on a sensible budget, within local planning conditions.
After much consideration with the salon's owner, 68b came up with a solution to help restyle PRIVET and put it firmly onto the map, so much so that, transformation complete, new, local clients asked if the salon had recently opened, a marked turnaround, having been established in 2014.
With assistance from our network of industry colleagues, we designed, specified and organised a complete identity & exterior overhaul. New logotype, signage, planters & window imagery.
We now regularly create new visual content, specifically seasonal, for in-store use and through all social media channels.
PRIVET has become a hugely enjoyable and rewarding brand for us to be involved with.

Imagery shot specifically for restaurant interior display and then used for digital media to promote the unique quality, character and flavour of Eco's sourdough 'Cafone', produced on-site in the bespoke wood-fired oven. Our relationship with Metropiltan stretches back a long way. Over the years Dave Burton of 68b has worked on numerous menswear trend forecasts and several different magazine series covers for the specialist Dutch publishing house, mostly in collaboration with the Colourist & Stylist, Emcee Viannay.
Creatively, it's always been an extremely rewarding process, one which has seen our work printed and published all over the world. However disparate or abstract the imagery and subject matter, we've always been aware that the message, either aesthetic, conceptual or cultural needs to be at the heart of what we do. Presenting and hopefully inspiring our readership with an open story or snapshot of what is currently on-trend, for them to re-interpret and utilise in whichever sphere of industry they operate.
Visual identity for the Pure radio group,

The world's first Cold Pressed and packaged 'RAWR' Fruit & Root drink, completely new to the market both as a concept and product.
When TEA REX arrived in the 68b studio, we knew the product was unique. Our challenge? to match this with brand imagery and help decide where to position it. Naturally we thought it had to be 'Top of the food chain'.
Often as not it's the 'gut feel' ideas which are the best and this was no different. A visual vision for the brand was sketched day one and following a few brainstorming sessions a punchy graphic language to hero the 'RAWR' tagline was created. From our extensive range of industry contacts and colleagues we assisted in organising logo and packaging design refinements as part of a complete holistic approach.
As the the business evolves we're creating content as each channel requires for events, print, social media, PR and it continues to today.
Exciting times ahead, 'bring out the RAWR!

"68b turned a one-off TV commercial in to a full year-long campaign.
The essence of the TV commercial was to capture the Great British holiday maker in all their glory hero-ing those funny things Brits do abroad. However 3 x 30s commercials running over the Christmas period was never going to truly capture these stories and quirky insights.
Parallel to a 2 day shoot, 68b set-to with a brief creating 5 mini social campaigns to capture stills of over 50 people cast in their swimmers. The results far exceeded the 100 shots requested; in total over 2500 shots were created which resulted in 3 social media campaigns every month for a year. This was only the beginning. The shots were reacted to so well in their first 3 months that lowcostholidays subsequently ran an outdoor and email campaign, as well as using the images on the home page of their website."
